Overview
This document will cover how to pull order line reports from the Campaign Dashboard.
Portal Reporting
Through the El Toro portal, you are able to access reporting information at the order line level. These reports can be pulled as a standardized pdf or a more customizable CSV version. They will include information such as how many click the order line received, a breakdown of impressions served by day, and more.
How to View Order Line Performance
Step 1: Navigate to the Campaign Dashboard by selecting “Dashboard” in the left-side menu
Step 2: Now, click on the order line you would like reporting for, this will open a drop-down menu with additional information about your order line.
- Order lines that are in “Draft” status or have not served impressions will not have reports and metrics available.
Step 3: In the top-right corner of the drop-down menu, click the “Performance Reporting” button.
Step 4: Once the report appears on the screen, you can export the report by pressing either the “Download PDF” or the “Download CSV” button in the top-right corner of the report.
How to Customize CSV Reports
When exporting a report as a CSV, you will see the option to customize the report in order to include or exclude certain metrics. Below is a list of the metrics available.
Best Practices
When pulling a report through the portal, there may be a delay of a few hours. This means that if the report is pulled at 3 p.m. you may only have data up until 1 p.m. of the same day. If you notice a discrepancy and need the most up-to-date information for whatever reason, please reach out to our team, and they will be able to provide that data for you.
FAQs
- Q: Does El Toro offer any additional Reporting?
-
A: Yes! We offer free reporting in the form of PDFs, as well as a number of premium reporting options. The full list can be found in the article below:
-
- Q: My report says that I have served more impressions than I paid for. Why?
-
A: In order to ensure that all of the impressions you request are served out, El Toro serves slightly more impressions than our clients order. However, you are only charged for the impressions you ordered. This means if you bought 100,000 impressions, but the order line served 101,000 impressions, you will only be charged for the 100,000 impressions you ordered
