Overview
This document will cover how to set up campaigns and order lines in the El Toro Portal.
Campaigns and Order Lines
Campaigns are the folder, or the container, in which you house order lines. They are used to organize individual initiatives to reach the overarching goal of a specific advertising push.
Order lines are the individual initiatives that contain the assets including audiences, creatives, and landing pages that are used to reach that overarching goal. In other words, these are the orders that spend money and serve impressions.
For instance, if a furniture company is doing a Memorial Day sale, they could set up one campaign for the sale and create order lines for multiple DMAs within it.
How to Create a Campaign and Order Line
Step 1: First, navigate to the sidebar on the left-hand side of your screen and click “Create”.
Step 2: This will open the campaign creation screen. From here, enter the campaign name, adjust the start and end dates, and then select whether the order line is political or not. After the information has been inputted, select “Continue” in the bottom right-hand part of the screen.
Step 3: Next, you will be brought to the audience tab. Click on the audience type you would like to use for your order line and upload/generate your target segments or click “Get From Library” to select an audience you have already uploaded.
For more information on uploading files to the portal, please see the documents below:

Step 4: Next, you will be brought to the creatives tab. Following the same process as before, you can either upload new creatives or select existing ones from your creative library. For more information on uploading creatives to the portal, please see the document below:

Step 5: The final screen you will be brought to is the review screen. Here, you will see the order line(s) that have been created, using the audiences and creatives you have selected during the creation process. You should now take some time to ensure everything looks right with your order line, including the estimated cost. Please note that you can edit audiences, creatives, and any order line settings at this stage of the process.
Step 6: After you have reviewed the order line, click the checkbox next to the order line. Then, click the toggle to confirm you have reviewed the order line and press submit.
After this, a member of our team will review the order line before deploying it to our DSP.
How to Add Order Lines to a Campaign
Step 1: First, navigate to the campaign dashboard. You can do this by selecting “Dashboard” from the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 2: Once here, locate an order line that is in the campaign you want to add additional order lines to. Then, click the name of the campaign found in the “campaign” column of the dashboard.
Step 3: This will open an additional menu, shown below. From here, click the “Add Order Line” button. This will bring you to a new page.
Step 4: From here, click the checkbox next to the new order line. Once checked, a blue menu will appear with various options, including edit audiences and edit creatives. To make changes to these categories, please follow the steps in this article below

Step: 1: First, navigate to the order line you would like to delete and click on it to open the order line details screen.
Step 2: Next, click the "Edit Order Line" button to open the order line edit/creation screen.

Best Practices
-
We recommend that campaigns and order lines are given a name that is unique and easy for you to identify. Our system will auto-generate an order line name based on the audience and creative type, however, this can be changed within the review tab during campaign creation.
-
Sticking to a standard naming convention can help keep your campaign dashboard organized when naming campaigns and order lines.
-
We recommend submitting order lines for approval at least 1-2 days in advance to allow time for review and to correct any issues if necessary. Once an order line is approved and deployed it will not begin serving impressions until the start date you have selected.
