Overview
This document will walk you through the necessary steps for using El Toro audiences in Meta’s advertising platform. The process is broken down into three steps:
-
Send your sales rep the Ad Account ID to which the audiences will be shared.
-
Receive and approve the El Toro ad account’s View Performance access request.
-
Accept the automated Business Partnership Request, which will appear in your audience library when El Toro shares an audience to a new ad account for the first time.

Now, follow along with the screenshot below.

-
Click the blue hyperlinked ad account. This will copy the ad account to your clipboard.
-
-
-
Send that ad account number to your sales executive, who will pass it on to our talented team of Meta specialists.
How to Accept Our “View Performance Access” Request
Once our team receives the ad account ID, we will use it to send your account a “View Performance Access” request. This access is essential for integrating with El Toro in Meta. This access request allows us to see the total number of impressions served to our audiences.
-
Log in to the Meta for Business platform. The above sections outline how to access this platform if you are unfamiliar.
-
Click the gear button in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This will open the Settings sidebar. Scroll to the bottom of this menu to find the business settings button.
-
Please note, that if you do not see a button for business settings, your account does not have permission to access those settings. If that is the case, a member of your team with access will need to accept the request.
-
-
From the Business Settings screen, find the navigation bar on the left-hand side and scroll to the bottom of that section. Then, click the Requests option.
-
-
Once in the Requests section, click received, and accept the View Performance Request sent from El Toro.
-
NEVER accept access requests from companies you do not recognize.
-
-
Once that has been accepted, let your sales executive know. Afterward, they will communicate with our Meta team to share the audience with your account.
How to Accept the Business Partnership Request
The first time El Toro shares an audience with your organization, Meta will send your organization an automated Business Partnership Request.
-
Navigate to the Ads Manager section of your Meta account. The section above, “How to Find Your Ad Account ID,” provides instructions for doing so.
-
From there, select the “Audiences” button in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
-
Once on the Audiences screen, you will see a table displaying all current audiences associated with your Meta account. Navigate to the audience El Toro shared with you. In line with that audience, you will see a button labeled “Accept Terms.”
-
Click the “Accept Terms” button to review and accept the terms of your Business partnership with El Toro.
